Svart med brunt skum. Lukter mørk sjokolade røde bær og kaffe. Fyldig. Søt. Smaker karamell fudge, vanilje, kaffe og søt engelsk lakris. Middels lang.

Aroma: Sweet malt with cocoa and a hint of vanilla. Flavour: Very malty sweet with cocoa and vanilla. Aftertaste is sweet with little bitterness. Colour: Black with a brown head. From: Can @ Væskebalancen Aarhus.

Solsletta 081022. Black color with some brown bubbles. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, coffee. Flavor is vanilla, chocolate, coffee, lactose , caramel, dried fruit. Nice beer.

Pours black, no real head. Scent is creamy, strawberry ice cream. Light 'feel', yet outspoken intensity. Taste is full, creamy, overload (!) of ice cream. Strawberry , vanilla. Pretty damn pastry forward, as expected by Amundsen.

Black with a brown head - Malt aroma with some chocoalte notes - Malt body with some chocolate and coffee flavours with some dark fruity tones as well - The malt with chocolate and coffee goes into the finish with some alcohol heat in the back - This was good

Can. A dark brown beer with some bubbles. Artificial aroma with perfumed notes, dark chocolate, coffee and a light fruity touch. It's full-bodied, warming and nicely carbonated, with a good sweetness. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, some caramel and a touch of dark dried fruit in the flavor. Lasting finish. Way too artificail this one. 221008

440ml can from who knows where. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, molasses, chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, light toffee caramel, with a silky smooth, rich, oily, warm boozy alcohol, liqourice, light chocolate, coffee palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Black beer, thick tan head. Smells of strawberries and lactose. Tastes of strawberries, lactose (cream) again, some dark chocolate, a bit of malt, vanilla. The body is gorgeous. Thick, smooth, hearty. Just a bit of boozy warmth. Taste leaves a little to be desired balance-wise and could do with a bit more of the chocolate and strawberry over the lactose but the feel of the thing is exactly what I want from this sort of beer and makes up for it a little. It's not a pastry stout I want to guzzle as some are (maybe a good thing!) but it's it has some things going for it.

440 ml can. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of sweet artificial strawberries, cream, chocolate and slick roasted malts. Flavours follow same, less on the fake strawberries and more on thick chocolate. Certainly smells like Neapolitan ice cream. Comes across more like a chocolate stout. A bit of alcohol as well, but it’s needs to cut the chocolate sweetness. Still very tasty…

440ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is yeasty strawberry and vanilla. Taste has nutty roast to start with a sweet strawberry and liquorice finish.
