One of the newest hops to market from the legendary Yakima Valley — and we got our hands on it.

Starting with a golden, dry and bitter base to feature three hops. The classic piney west coast hop, Chinook, and one of our new favourites, Talus, are paired with a super concentrated dose of New Altus. Resin and pine meet notes of tangeine (sic) and grapefruit in this modern and bitter IPA.

473 ml can. Pours amber with solid moderate head. Aromas of dusty tropical fruit/pineapple, dull pine, citrus peel, and toasted malts. Flavors follow same, with more fruit and pine, and bready malts. Resiny finish. Simple and brilliant. So great to have a good West Coast IPA when the market is drowning in Hazys

Canned 473ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko, thanks! Unclear golden coloured, small off-white head, piney and light herbal nose. Sweetish malty, light coconut, piney and herbal touch with some alcohol in the finish.

Canned, huge thanks Pictoman! Shared with Ogivlado. Hazy golden-orange body, off-white head. The aroma starts sharp - sickly, big green onion aroma, some sweet maltiness underneath, lightly yeasty? Maybe it took a hit from traveling. Lean, dry taste, coconut, resiny notes, sweetish nice enough, ends bitterish, dry, piney. Huh... a bit of a mess, the aroma lets it down quite a bit. Shame I didn't try it last week. Maybe.

Can from High Point, Vancouver
Clear and bright golden colour, medium head. Aroma of piney, resinous hops. Lean body, the residual sweetness is very low indeed; nice malt base, with some cereals, hay, toffee, bread; bold hopping, some herbaceous notes, resins.
Not the brightest DIPA, but it's almost modern, and it's very good.

16oz @ Alex's. Appearance: a bit hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: bitter citruses, crispy. Taste: along the same lines with piney aftertaste. Overall: a good old school thing I suppose, but I, of course, prefer hazies (mcberco 🤪).

473mL can, pours a clear golden copper orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of bitter pinecone-like hops, with some grapefruit peel and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour strikes all the right notes, with lots of pine cones, grapefruit peel, a touch of floral character, and a crisp biscuity malt base. Crisp, pleasantly bitter and balanced. Excellent bitter west coast IIPA.

Amber and bright. Thin head. On the nose, bright fruity notes - some stone fruits in there, but maybe starfruit and that type of thing as well. Nice bitterness. The hop character is really cool - bitter grapefruit, starfruit, lychee, the juiciest peach. Solid malt backing lends a bit of breadiness, and there's a touch of alcohol in the finish. This is the direction IPA should have gone in.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear gold with white head. Light citrusy tropical and floral hops, mild pine finish. Pretty decent.
