Bottle 0.75l, four years aged. Clear, very dark red to black colored. AROMA- red wine, sour cherry liquor, nuts, dark chocolate. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, lightly sour, moderately bitter, strong red wine impression, a bit sour with touch of chocolate. Fuller bodied.
Good.

Tap at BGB. Very dark brown-black body, creamy off-white head. Creamy, fruity aroma, red grape jelly almost, bordering on buttery in a way, but that goes with the wine I guess, edged by wood. Lean, tart taste, chocolatey, red grapes, vague cherry notes, smooth and nice. The barrel has really given a lot to this beer, perhaps overtaken it, and the end result is quite pleasant, though it should probably go in the flavored category, how intensive it is.
