Smooth, floral, still dry cider. Expect white blossom aromas and notes of greengage over flinty minerality. Made with acidic apple varieties from ancient, unsprayed orchards in the exe Valley, Devon.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. 2020 vintage. 6%. Orange golden colour, thin bubbly rim and aroma of apple, flowery, funk. Taste is tangy, apple, fleshy, some herbal & floral notes, a barnyard funk hint, woody, citric and mellow tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle pour at The Cider House - Borough Market, pours a hazy golden, no head. Aroma brings out crisp apple skins, champagne-like effervescence, and gentle farmhouse notes. Flavour is bone dry, with horse blanket, subtle champagne-like effervescence, and musty dry apple skins. I like the dryness, but I wish there was more funk, more complexity, and some carbonation. Good but could be improved a bit in a number of dimensions.
