Farmhouse ale with rhubarb from the guys at Misery in Wallonia. Snow white, foamy, cobweb-lacing, thick head on a hazy pale orangey golden beer. Aroma of stewed rhubarb and rhubarb compote, lime zest, cooked apple, brioche bread, peach cake, honey, pear juice. Very fruity onset, kiwi and green grape with of course this oxalic streak of rhubarb sourness and crispness, enhanced by lively carb; bread-cereally malt core, with a pleasant play of sweet and sour on top, entertaining till the end. The oxalic acidity makes for an extra drying touch in the finish, which generally remains juicy and lovely sweet-sour. Very decent top-fermented saison, made sour by the rhubarb only.

A little cloudy orange blond beer, small creamy white head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: weird, a bit spicy, malty with a hint of rhubarb. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, nice, gentle acidic rhubarb notes with a bitter touch. Aftertaste: floral notes, a bit fruity, some rhubarb, bitter, grassy finish.

Draft sample @ La Sambre & Friends Saison & Farmhouse Festival 2022.
Difficile à verser, blanc très actif, couleur dorée pâle, col blanc épais crémeux.
Arôme est frais saison, rustique avec un apport plaisant de grains - rétro nasal frais rhubarbe délicat qui revient avec le temps.
Palais est assez sec / rustique avec un caractère grains bien placé. Le rhubarbe perce avec le temps - au départ peu présente, ce côté plante végétal et organique qui revient plus à l'attaque avec qcq minutes à t° ambiante.
Je retrouve le côté un peu fibreux
