[November 2022] Dark brown with a frothy/creamy tan head. Sweet smelling, semi-creamy with some roasted malt lurking in the background, behind the milk chocolate

Oldham Beer Festival 2024. Very dark, fairly regular and mildly sweet stout.

Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear medium brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, sweet chocolate, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small cream head and good lacing. Aroma is mainly roasted malts with some hints of honey and summer fruits. Roasted malts again in the mouth, along with oats, lactose and cola. It is slightly sweet with a creamy texture. Finish is somewhat dry. This is entirely reasonable.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Boot on 26th April 2023. Black with a weak beige head. Malty/Oats front with some coffee esters, smooth and creamy texture, nice!

Cask @ Salopian, the pub. Pours dark, creamy head. Smooth, balanced chocolate and dark malts to taste, creamy moments.. decent.

Can from Hoptimism. Black colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty sweet and creamy with a slight roasted bitter finish.
