12 oz. bottle thanks to tfontana on the share. Aroma maybe cherry because I know it is here? Is there bourbon? I am searching. Flavor is syrupy cherry and weak roasted malt. The texture is again, syrupy and ends so sweet that it is hard to pick out bourbon. Kind of a mess of a stout. Surprised they sold this to people. Bad.

Bottle (2024) from Julio's Liquors. Opaque black with ring of head, light viscosity, trace lacing. Aroma is bourbon, earthy roasted malt, cherry, hint of chalky, under-ripe banana if I search for it. Taste is strong, sweet bourbon/cherry, earthy, roasted malt. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, no alcohol, sweet, earthy roasted malt finish. Where's the banana? Doesn't deliver what it advertised.

2024 bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown with a finger of beige head that dissipates quickly. Lots of cherry, banana, bourbon and milk chocolate on the nose. Palate is similar with notes of bourbon, warming alcohol and chocolate milk. Banana, cherry and bourbon linger on the finish.

12oz bottle drunk 11/28/23. Dark. Tan head quick to ring. Big banana, fruity cherry and mellow but well-done bourbon with spice and rich, mellow whiskey. No booze, though a bit too much banana for me; just a bit dominant. Sweet, malty, rich chocolatey, vanilla-heavy with fruity banana-cherry and plentiful lead and wood spice from bourbon. This is pretty top-tier stuff but for the slightly less-full body (not the contemporary sweet-syrup-soft texture) and what I think is a bit too much banana. Still, how is 3F putting this gem out and all the other crap they put out?!

Black with a medium sized foamy tan head. Boozy with chocolate and cherry. Long finish. Full body.

Quite sweet, with notes of chocolate sauce, caramel, molasses, and vanilla ice cream backed up by bourbon and dried fruit and a touch of soy sauce. Finishes with a oak bitterness that leans cloy, touched by cherry and a slight banana fruitiness on the fade. Just too damn sugary; no way I can finish this pint.

Roast and light cherry, banana. Some barrel. Better than Dark Lord, but i hate that soy sauce. Some chocolate. Sweet finish. Bottle.

Pours black and smells of chocolate, bourbon, roast malt, and cherries. The flavor is sweet with bourbon, chocolate, cherries, a little banana, and roast malt. It’s a full bodied dessert beer. Really tasty.
