Pinkish and a bit hazy. The raspberry comes through a fair bit on the nose, the rhubarb perhaps a bit less. The berry is biggest on the palate. A bit of yeastiness, with a touch of rhubarb. Actually not pulling too much brett, but it’s nice, with a mellow fruit character.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly transparent with loaded gold / light amber color and white foam, limited and very fine. Aroma is sugary, berries and bretted. Body is dense and with some astringency, not excessive. Taste is sweet and sour, rather well balanced. Finish is short and pleasant.

330 ml bottle. Pours a reddish orange with light persistent head. Aromas of dried raspberries, dry wheat, a little bit of gym socks and vines. Flavors of dried raspberries, tart rhubarb, sharp wheat and wooly Brett. Quite nice.

Cloudy red/pink color with a rather short lived bubbly white head. Good intensity in the aroma. Typical brett stuff. Medium body and a lively carbonation level. Pleasant acidity. Quite yeast dominated flavor. Also raspberry and noticeable rhubarb when you know it is there.

Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, minerals, fruit salt, ashes, paper, grain, sorrel, sour berries, sawdust. Medium bitterness, strange sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/4/2016. Pours hazy golden orange/light pink color with a 1-2 finger foamy white head with poor retention, that reduces to a nothing fairly quickly. Minimal lacing and a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of lightly tart rhubarb, strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, pear, apple, white grape, melon, pepper, hay, straw, light funk, wheat, biscuit dough, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, raspberry/rhubarb, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy rhubarb, strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, pear, apple, white grape, melon, pepper, hay, straw, light funk, wheat, biscuit dough, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/tangy tartness and light yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of rhubarb, strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, pear, apple, white grape, melon, pepper, hay, straw, wheat, biscuit dough, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, raspberry/rhubarb, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from tartness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/bready/grainy, and lightly acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a very nice fruited Brett wild ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, raspberry/rhubarb, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink. More malty than I expected, but still had great balance of the fruit and Brett flavors. A very enjoyable offering.
