Almost clear amber with a creamy head. Malty, caramely, basement notes, raisins, toffee, peat, candy sugar. Malty caramely sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, malty caramely sweetness. A full bodied and complex Rotbier on the sweet side.

Flascherl: Red-amber coloured, hazy, quickly collapsing loose off-white head; moderste to solid sweet malty and toasty nose, some caramel undernesth plus earthy-leafy hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, pretty full bodied; lingering malty-caramelly finish with an increasing earthy hoppiness in the aftertaste. A bit on the sweet side, but sll in all very tasty and well balancedβ¦
