You are holding the very first edition of our Inida Pale Ale. Brewed with the finest malted barley and a small amount of wheat. Our ales are crafted by hand in very small batches and neither fined, filtered or pasteurized to give the outmost flavour. Carefully selected hops are added to give aroma and a balanced bitterness. As we choose to condition our ales in the bottle, it will leave a small deposit. Best served at cellar temperature in a Burgundy wine glass or equivalent.

Bottled 330ml (Beergium, BB 09/2018)
Amber colour, medium-sized white head and lace. Light citrus and fruits in the nose. Medium-bodied. Basic pale malty IPA with some citrus and fruits. Finish is a bit short. Ok maltyness but hops are in the background. Clean but uninspiring.

Draught at Katarina, 11/29/16.
Clear, bright golden-apricot body, well-carbonated with a medium-sized white head showing moderate retention.
Lots of melon, light pine and grapefruit rind in the nose. Seems mostly West Coast-styled, with a good enough malt backing adding bread/biscuit and light honey. Hops are perhaps a bit too forceful/acidic, lending some sour resin-like quality. Fruitiness is strong, and that’s enjoyable, with interesting melon and even marshmallow-like notes. Very rustic, but clean, with no alcohol.
Malty, though still dry on the finish, with medium, ample carbonation. Lots of bread and unfortunately, lots of pine and grapefruit leading to a surplus of acidity on the palate. Fine overall, but I think a lot of non-American IPAs are afraid to not put enough hops in and end up dumping way too many in (before the very end) thereby rendering their beers too bitter.

Bottle at the Spritmuseum Café/Bar, Stockholm, Sweden, Friday 18th November 2016 Pours deep gold hazy with a white sticky head atop. Nice bristling hoppiness, fruity, dry, citrussy. Really pleasant IPA, tasty, simple but hits all the right beats. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Pours pale golden, nice and usual at the same time. Aroma has a bit of citrus, malt is also peeking out from the background. Taste is bitter but lacking elegance and not very fragrant. Just bitter. In the aftertaste, the bitterness is getting just more tense, real grapefruit peel bitterness on steroids. Not juicy. Well, overall I guess it is an IPA, not my favourite representation of the style but well, maybe just OK.

Draught @ Ölrepubliken. Pours hazy golden with a frothy white head that leaves lots of thick sticky lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty and tiny fruity with caramel, toffee, grapefruit juice, mango, moist grass, pine needles, resin and lemon zest. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter, tiny malty, tiny fruity and herbal. Mouthfeel is round, slightly astringent and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and bitter with crackers, caramel, grapefruit juice, mango, moist grass, pine needles, lemon spiked black tea, moist soil and lemon zest. Solid but not very bright... Resin and tea. Not my kind of hop profile. --- Beer merged from original tick of India Pale Ale on 09 Jan 2016 at 17:30 - Score: 6. Original review text: Solid but not very bright... Resin and tea. Flaska från SBs lokala sortiment. Fin frisk fruktig doft med en cocktail av tropisk frukt och färska granskott. Smaken som doften med en grön gräsig beska. En snygg ganska torr, ren modern IPA som jag gillade. Gott.

330 ml bottle. Unclear golden body with a small off-white head. Medium aroma of fruit, ripe fruit and some malt. Flavor is medium sweet malt, citric fruit, mature fruit and moderate in bitterness for an IPA. Medium body and average aftertaste. OK, drinkable, but many “medium’s” here to impress.
