Part of the 'Together Again' series, brewed with our friends at Time & Tide.

Set up on the stunning Kent coast by 3 friends from Deal, Time & Tide Brewing are fuelled by passion, a sense of fun, and an unrelenting dedication to making the best beer they can. In 2019 they started collaborating with the Deal Hop Farm, growing hops on a patchwork farm in and around Deal. They use Prima Donna hops to make more traditional beers in cask and cans. Together have brewed Big Fish, Little Fish, a big, juicy TIPA with a light finish showcasing dank Idaho 7, pineapple juice El Dorado, and soft, citrus NZ Cascade.

Can. Very hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a very mild viscosity, decent fine carbonation emerging on the back end. Smooth pale malts, a good creamy sweetness. So El Dorado is pineapple juice and Idaho 7 is dank? Well not in my experience. The trio of hops deliver nibbly hop spice and a very light pine. Rich smooth citrus interacts well with a sweet and slightly ripe tropical fruit vibe. Tastes like Idaho 7 to me. Some El Dorado Sakura coming through on the back end. Finishes smooth and semi dry with the hop spice starting to bite. Yeah,. a nice TIPA, feels a little unclean but certainly delivers hop intensity. Good not the 2nd coming...

Draft at Twelve Taps, Whitstable. Poured a murky light yellow orange colour with a bubbly round head. The aroma is tropical citrus and warm alcohol. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter, moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, passionfruit mango, dank, grassy, herbal, earthy, warm alcohol bitter palate and a lingering alcohol bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Draft at Tap & Can. Pours murky orange gold with a white head that quickly fades. Aroma is orange, sticky hop, booze, a little green onion. Taste is orange, sticky hop, green onion, a bit of burnt plastic, booze burn. A bit too boozy for me. Not well balanced as normal.
