Bottle 0.75l from our archive, three years aged. Cloudy, copper colored. AROMA- peaty, whiskey, red berries, plums, red currant, strawberry, dark grapes. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, slightly fruity sour, lightly bitter, lots of berries again, cherry, plum, apple, apricot, lightly peaty, whiskey. Fuller bodied. Nice Barley Wine.

Bottle at ČP, yaaaay! Never expected to try it. Murky brown body, off-white head. Huge, enormous peaty aroma overwhelming everything else, solid maltiness had to be backing it. Soft peaty malty taste, slightly lighter than expected. And did I say it's peaty? Because it is! Very much so! If you love peat, this is your beer. Provided you can find any anywhere, of course...

75cl bottle at the Zichovec barrel tasting. F: thin, egg-white to tan, quick gone. C: brown hazy with coppery hue. A: a lot of smoked tones, caramel, a lot of smoked tones, caramel. T: full malty base, bit medicinal tones, peat, woody, mellow fruity, caramel, soft carbonation, ok yet may be too much peat tones for me, enjoyed still.

Bottle at the Zichovec barrel tasting. Med-full body, high carbonation. There is no going around the shitloads of peat smoke that define the character of this beer. Really assettively smokey, with some supporting caramelly maltiness and light dried fruits. The smoke starts realy intense, declines pretty fast too though. Weird, not my favourite, still pretty good though.
