Heinrich Hönicka (1886-1963). Engagierter Brauherr und begeistere Landwirt. Er führte für fast 60 Jahre die Geschäfte der Hönicka-Bräu. Aus jener Zeit stammt auch die Rezeptur für dieses festliche, süffige und urige Spezialbier.

Zufällig in einem Marktredwitzer Supermarkt gefunden und eigentlich nur aufgrund der lustigen Flasche mit dem Schraubverschluss mitgenommen. Bei der Rechereche zum Bier stellte sich dann raus, das es aus einer kleinen Brauerei aus der Nähe kommt und dem ehemaligen alt-ehrwürdigen Brauherrn Heinrich Hönicka gewidmet ist, dessen altes Rezept hier gebraut wurde. Es ist ein gemütiches Helles, das Rictung Festbier geht, aber nicht zu vollmundig ist, sondern durch seine angenehme Trinkbarkeit erfreut. Ich sehe es weniger als Spezeilbier, als das es verkauft wird, sonder eher als gemütliches Feierabendbier oder zum Essen.

Bottle. Plae golde, huge eggshell lace. Dry grassy nose, light grainy notes. Medium to light body, mellow grainy mouthfel. Slacking a bit on the palate: Light hay and grass with a bitter backstop. No flaws, but alsonot overly exiting.

Flasche. Klares Orange-Gelb, mit festem Schaum. Aroma: Malzig, Getreide, Hopfen, blumig, Geschmack: süßlich, Malz, blumig, Karamell, leicht metallisch. Mild bitter.

Bottled, from Hier Gibt's Bier. Lightly hazy deep golden, mid sized head. Doughy aroma with floral hops. Mid dry with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with grass and summer flowers. Fairly low bitterness. Mild and pleasant.

Bottle from Hier gibts Bier and drunk at home. Clear deep gold colour lasting cream head. Full tasting marzen. Some malt some golden syrup. Tasty no doubt. Good clean. But full too. Some hop on end. Just a good drinkable fuller lager. Good.

50cl bottle, from Hier Gibt´s bier. Poured clear golden in color with a typical white head. Grainy and malty brew with some mild spiciness. Bread and sweetness. Average.

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Light hoppy-metallically background. Modest spicy. Average but okay.

50cl bottle. Pours clear deep golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of mild sourish malt, grains, mild hops. Taste of pale malt, grains, mild spicy hops, boring!
