Bottle. Murky pale brown, heavy carbonation, offwhite head. Soapy roast aroma, some herbal note. Sweet juicy malt, chewy sweet, rusty notes, roast, broad flowery hop notes which carry it home from a slightly muddled start.

Langer krautig-trockener Nachhall. - Kerniges Dunkles mit prominenten Malz- und Hopfenaromen (Tettnanger). Müßte nur etwas weicher und fülliger sein.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, dark amber colour with a beige and firm mid-sized foamy head. Yeasty, slightly cheesy/sweaty nose with notes of dark malt, caramel and a delicately nutty touch. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a modest carbonation. A tad slim dark malty start with slightly nutty notes, caramel and bread; sweet dark malty and slightly bitter hoppy finish with notes of caramel in the aftertaste. Just okay. 12.VII.16
