Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts of all places. Clear gold, brief white fizz. Aroma of the aged oak wood comes through most strongly. Apples come through quite tangy with dry skin notes. Taste showcases the fruitiness of the apple better, wood and vanilla are there, quite tangy and drying in the finish with a slight alcohol warmth going down. Decent.

0.5 l bottle from 'Bierwinkelier.nl', as 'Sheppy's 2021 Vintage Reserve Cider (Oak Aged). Clear, golden with a few white bubbles on top of it. Sweetish, slightly sourish, gently fruity and a little funky aroma of ripe apple, walnut, some oak and traces of sulfur. Quite sweet, minimally sourish, gently woody and rather fruity taste of ripe apple, oak, some walnut and hints of honey, followed by a short, gently woody-dry finish. Medium body, minimally astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Pleasant cider, refreshing and moreish at the same time.

Dark yellow colour. Powerful apple aroma-. Dry powerful apple flavor. Soem oak and barnyard. Moderate finish. Oily palate.

500ml bottle from Co-op, Bradford-upon-Avon. Golden colour, short-lived bubbly white head and aroma of apple, fruity, yeasty hint. Taste is tangy, apple, skin & core, with woody hints and some drying tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry lightly tannic finish. Quite drinkable..

500ml bottle: BBE April 2024. Shared with my son Ben on 3rd July 2022. Farmyard aroma and a dirty apple taste, grew on me after the initial dislike.
