The super tasty cider is made by soaking regent grape skins in Ellis Bitter apple juice for three weeks. The skins are strained off and the cider allowed to ferment and then mature for six months, before being blended with naturally sweet new season keeved cider.
Fresh fruit on the nose, followed by a complex interplay of grape and apple tannins. Complex and sessionable in balance, its fruit forward, and summer in a glass.
Guest blended by Martyn Goodwin-Sharman.

750ml bottle from Gloucester Services on the M5. Pours deep red with opaque bubbles. Aroma: apple, red grape, fruity. Taste: moderate+ sweet, very prominent red grape, also notes of cherry & raspberry, any apple vibes very much in the background. Light tannins. Dry on the palate. Medium body with low carbonation. Nice!

750ml bottle from Pilton. Deep red colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of ripe apple, earthy, red grape, herby. Taste is sweet, juicy apple, grapey, berries, red wine notes, with some burnt caramel hints and drying tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
