10/6/2022. From BIAB at the 17th Braintree Real Ale Festival. Pours almost clear dark amber bronze with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sloe berry, baked apple, hints of herb and juniper. Medium sweetness and light bitterness/tartness. Moderate body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. Dry, sweet and tangy finish. Quite enjoyable.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Red amber colour, white foam head and aroma of sloes, berry fruity, jammy. Taste is sweetish, berries, sloes, gin, with some tart acidity. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK

Draught at the Soar Bridge Inn, Barroe-upon-Soar. Very pink, clear with a tiny settled bit of head. Light aroma of berries (I'm getting more cranberry than sloe), strawberry flavouring. Sweet, sweet, sweet taste. Even for a sweet cider this is at maximum sweetness with no relief in the finish. For ticking value only really.
