Panda - big thanks to Wingman. A light haze on this amber, small bubbly tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, fairly light for the style, decent fine carbonation. The malts are suitably creamy caramel toffee but this a barleywine that serves its barrel. Big fruity bourbon with a really nice oak barrel inducement, touch of wood as well. Some spicy bourbon on the semi dry finish. Very nice BA BW, a rest tasty treat.

Bottle split at DS, thanks to Dave, 29/09/22. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a beige cap that veers edgewards. Nose is sweet malts, figs, bourbon, spice, toffee fudge, dates, coconut shavings. Taste comprises fruit cake mix, toffee, spice, brown sugar melt, raisins, vinous sherry like notes, dates, prunes. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kick of booze. Solid well balanced BA affair.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Dave. Pours clear, deep brown with a slight, foamy yellow-tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour, lightly earthy, loads of mi-dark fruits, caramel, vanilla, bourbon, toffee. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, lightly sticky, more rich caramel, ripe fruits. Superb.

From tap @ Peders, Copenhagen. Poured near black in color. Malty, bready and obviously very sweet. Borderline cloy. Raisiny notes. Smooth.
