Keg tap at the Blue Moon, Cambridge. Amber and slightly hazy with a small film of off-white head and lots of creamy lacing. Spruce, treacle and a touch of butter rum on the aroma. Taste quickly sinks into a bready sweetness, but there’s a pronounced hoppy bitterness asserting itself near the end of the sip. Long bitter finish with a suggestion of sourness. Wholemeal toast and biscuit spread in the aftertaste. Really worth a try.

Keg from the Electric Bear Brewery Tap, Bath Friday 22nd April 2016 Pours almost copper in colour with a white sticky head, good clarity. Malty in the mouth and on the nose, it’s got some oomph, but there is a good hoppy flurry that follows. Really warming, impressed with this beer. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Keg at CBC Brixton - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a mellow, foamy white head. Hearty malts in the nose, some pine, graham crackers, toasted caramel. Medium to big sweet flavor with rich crackery malts, some caramel, ripe orange, straight alcohol. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish with piney, resinous hops, more crackers, some toasted caramel. Novel gear.

(Cask at Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2016) The beer poured dark brown and clear. No head. Aroma had malts and booze. Palate was medium bodied and warming with no carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, sweetness, booze and bitternes. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. Interesting experiment but not good.

Cask @Gallows bird, real ale festival 2016. Pours mahogany color with a thin white head. Caramelly, almonds, sweet, marzipan aroma. Pretty much same flavors. Quite sticky and boozy. Woody finish. Too boozy for me at least.
