33cl blik van Bierwinkel Alkmaar. Mistig oranje kleur, witte kraag. Citroen, sinaasappelschil, aspartaam, moutig, licht harsig, wat caramel, lichte hint van bourbon, vooral het zoete, bitterzoete finish. Medium body. Had hier iets meer van verwacht.

Troebel donkergeel tot oranje bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fruitig zoet met iets van hars, wat citrus en perzik. Opnieuw een geslaagd product wat mij betreft.

Blond colour with thin head and fine carbonation. Intense with elements of vanilla and peach. Generally quite sweet but there is a delicate bitterness too. Very interesting.

Can at home. Pours golden amber, nose is piney, caramel, oak, taste is sweet toffee, citrus, pine, oak.

Säuerlicher, moderat hopfiger Beginn. Süßlich, Vanille, milde Herbe, Holznoten. Hohe Süffigkeit, rund, für 6% sehr vollmundig. Cremig-würzig, der Hopfen kommt mit der Zeit deutlicher hervor, intensiv. Langer Nachgeschmack. 8/12/12/12/8/12

Magus, mõru, vesine, humalane, vaniljene, puuviljane, kuiv. Ok, huvitav.

I'll say it again: barrel aged IPA's are usually pretty weird. Including this. Pretty damn thick for the ABV, but quite smooth. Plenty of bourbon present, and the Sabro is really noticable too (coconut), fairly bitter. Quite nice!

0.33 l can from 'Mr. Hop', best before July 2023. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, malty, fairly resiny, gently fruity aroma of pine, orange blossom, honey, tangerine, vanilla and some bourbon. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather resiny, gently fruity taste of pine, honey, orange jam, vanilla, bourbon, tangerine, some oak and traces of coconut, followed by a short, gently bitter, quite woody-dry, resiny finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Lovely BA IPA, would like to see more breweries trying that, Kees' recent efforts have all been successful at least.
