(Draught at Purgatorio, Lund, Sweden, 8 June 2024) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, hay, citrus and herbs. Malty taste with bread, herbs, grain, citrus and a mild herbal/citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fresh and tasty helles. Nice one.

Ljusgul klar vätska med vitt livligt skumlock. Aromer av gräs och ljust bröd. Bra markerad maltighet i balans med gräsig ren beska. Den högre upplevda sötman i en helles jämfört med en pils får här även sällskap av rökighet, snyggt integrerad.

Tap at Artut, Östersund. This was a tricky one because at first I thought it was hitting as many boxes as a good Aecht. The smoking seemed really well done. But after a while to settle, the smoke just made it taste very macro - not at all wood smoke/ bacon like you would hope. So in the end, I feel the smoke didnt work as it should have and ultimately ruined the beer.

--Keg at Akkurat, Stockholm. -- Clear golden, mid sized head. Bready nose with very mild charcuterie smoke. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Dominated by soft bready malt, hints of smoked ham. Low bitterness. Mild and pleasant.
