Gravicask, half pint, shared with Finn. near-black in the glass, a few bubbles on the surface, scattered lacing. Inviting smell of roasted malts with a dark fruity hint. Mixed taste of chocolate malts, liquorice, and a fruity bite. Moments of roasted bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Likeable mild.

(First session, 44th Liverpool Beer Festival, Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt, 13.02.2025).
