Aus der Flasche (bbe 19.10.2023) im 2025-02 getrunken. Diese rosa farbende Ale kommt mit einer wunderbaren Balance an Aromen von Trauben und wilder Hefe daher. Der Alkoholgehalt und Säuregehalt ist perfekt ausbalanciert. Ein wunderbares Ale!

Sensory Session #131: Cloudy, Amber color and a small White head. Nose Is sour, grapes, Lemon, funky. Sour tatse, Brett, wine-iah, White balsamico, grapes, acid-fruity. Wine and cask flavors at Finish.

29/II/24 - 37.5cl bottle from La Source (webshop) or Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 10/VIII/23, lot: P53 (2024-125)

Pretty clear dark orange beer, small aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: quite some vinegar up front, pretty dirty touch, lemony, oranges, orange peel, a bit spicy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sourish, fruity touch, bitter, woody, tannins, a bit chemical. Aftertaste: very acidic, dry, fruity, nice, sweet grapes, juicy, nice one, I like it!

37,5cl bottle (BB: 19/10/2023) from Rob the Gourmets’ Market in Brussels. F: thin, white, quick gone. C: orange gold, hazy. A: light sour fruity, brett, woody, bit lemon, gooseberries, bit caramel. T: medium malty base, brett, grape, bit lemon, funky, woody tannins, bit bready, decent bitterness, soft carbonation, very good, fully enjoyed.

Draft sample @ BXL BeerFest 2022.
Couleur orange, col fin blanc-cassé.
Arôme sur un bouquet fleuri fruité - raisin et pomace/marc , rétro fin caramel avec un côté aigre voire acidité marquée.
Palais sur un caractère raisin mais repris de suite par des notes aigres marquées et venant de la barrique - le tout en est presque sur acétique. L'effet Riesling s'en retrouve perdu. Ceci étant, le caractère malté de 'red ale' me semble en retrait par rapport au profile aigre qui tend à tout dominer. Pas certain que je veuille refaire l'essai avec la version bouteille.

Dire le niveau car j'en ai eu des aigreurs d'estomac en soirée.
