Cantillon Barbera is a lambic made using Barbera grape pomace from the natural winemaking Belotti family and the Cascina Degli Ulivi winery in the Gavi region of Italy. Barbera grapes provide a fruity, light bodied flavor with high acidity.

750ml bottle from Marine Hotel, Stonehaven. It pours slightly hazy deep magenta with a lasting, fluffy off - white head. The aroma is bright red wine character, grape skin, pomace, juicy, crunchy, musty, funky, barnyard, dry oak, jam, c Victoria sponge cake, fragrant, floral and hibiscus. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, sour, puckering, lovely vinous character, crunchy red wine, grapes skin, dull cranberry, pomegranate, blood orange, juniper, hibiscus, jam, restrained funk, dry oak, hint of tannin and sour candy. Medium body and soft, fluffy carbonation. Love this. Flavourful and super balanced. Delicious.

75cl Bottle @ Cantillon. Pours cloudy red with a small White head. Funk, grapes and a red fruit linger. Enormous drinkability and very elegant overall. Dry and funky fruit framboise a like linger. Wauw.

Bottle at Les Brigittines, pours a dark purple with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is grape skin, funk, wood. Thin body, grape, oak, funk, vinous, nice tartness, enjoyed this.
