Handpull cask at Tap and Kitchen, Oundle. Reddish brown and clear with an uneven beige head and a little lacing. Nose has a bit of sulphur to it, a bit weird. Also woody character, some red berry. Taste has even more sulphur to it, with a dry bitterness pervading. Long tannic finish. Body feels full with very little carbonation. Usually love Nene Valley but this fell short.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Gluten Free. Amber gold colour, white foam head and aroma of citric hop, floral fruity notes. Taste is sweetish, malt, bready, blackcurrant, fruity, and grassy, citric, with some tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying tangy grassy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
