We love porters as a style: all the dark caramel malt character of their stout cousins, with lighter, sessionable bodies… but this isn’t your classic London porter!
For this experiment, we've:
- Layered cherry- and oak-smoked grains onto a medium-roast coffee malt base
- Smoothed the body with a generous helping of oats, and
- Brightened the whole affair with red raspberries
We think the gentle smoke and raspberry flavors complement the porter’s traditional coffee notes beautifully, but we’re excited to hear your impressions too, as always. So come by the taproom and give it a try with us!

Draft at the Gravity taproom. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a round bubbly, light tan head. The aroma is roasted malts, smoky, light caramel. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, light spicy coffee, earthy, light tart raspberry palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg at the Gravity taproom, Budapest, 09/06/23. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige head that thins to a swirl. Nose is tangy red berries, dark malts, dried fruit rinds, herb, mellow roast, subtle smoked malts. Taste comprises chocolate shavings, light bonfire, raspberries, dried fruits, earthy roast, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent well balanced porter.

Cloudy mahogany brown with a frothy/bubbly tan head. Raspberry, roasted malt and wood fire on the nose. The smoked wood/ash hits up front, it’s smooth and creamy but light bodied, with tart raspberry and dry, roasted malt to finish

Draft sample @ BXL BeerFest 2022.
