27 March 2023. At Wee Vault, Edinburgh. Shared with the lovely Anke!
A: hazy red, thin, off-white head.
A: artisan honey, forest fruit jam, yoghurt.
T: sour raspberry & blackberry, honey malts, bit lactic.
F: tart berries, honey, yoghurt, wheat.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Balanced all in all, honey was even a bit unnecessary here.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - opaque purple. Should that be deep? Thin white head. Nose - mainly honey with black fruit lurking. Taste - blackberry and honey. A bit blackberry crumble. Palate - medium bodied, not a sour really. Sweet and fairly dry on the finish. Overall - good.

Keg at BrewDog Cambridge, 19/07/22. Raspberry red with a good sized crimson cap. Nose is raspberries, honey lozenge, light herb, sweet malts, berry pips. Taste comprises bitter sweet berry compote, lighter honey presence than the nose suggested, berry pips, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tangy berry climax. Not bad ... doesn't drink like the stated 9%.
