For this Druif, we macerated the ever fragrant Gewurztraminer grape, harvested in the summer 2022 in Bourgheim, Alsace, on one- and three-year old lambik, for more than four months. The old portion accounts for almost 80%, rendering the weighted average age of more than 31 months. The final fruit intensity is 437 grams of Gewurztraminer grapes per litre of finished Druif. Almost 65% of the nine different lambikken were brewed with local cereals. A small part of this blend was also bottled on magnums. 100% 3 Fonteinen.

Intense grape must and oak. Touch of vanilla too.

750mL bottle at Lambiczoon, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of bright grape skins, barnyard funky, and a touch of leather. Flavour is amazingly complex, with an incredibly pronounced grape skin character, moderate barnyard funk, and light leathery notes. Beautiful grape skin character that combines well with the funk. Lovely.

75cl bottle (Blend 35 ∙ 22 - 23, 7.8%, bottled 01/26/2023, 437grams of Gewürztraminer grapes per litre) from the brewery. F: thin, white, some bubbles. C: deep gold to amber, hazy. A: nice light sour fruity, barnyard, funky, apples peels, peach, nice grapes, lychees. T: full malty base, barnyard, clear Gewürztraminer grapes, bit gooseberries, lychees, spicy touch, light sour fruity, funky, dry on the palate, soft carbo, very nice as I expected, fully enjoyed.

Bottle, 750 ml. Funky, some barnyard, fruity, white grapes, vinous, soft texture. Medium sourness.
Ratebeer Odense First tasting of the year 2024. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Funky aroma with plenty of apple peel. Dry and tart fruity and funky flavour.

Bottle @ Ratebeer Odense, January twenty four. Pours Unclear Golden with a White head. Apple skinz, funk, barnyard, Wood. Manuer. Bone dry with a touch of warming alcohol.

Pours unclear amber. Bit pot-pourri like. Spicy, earthy. Taste is full, sharp and intense tartness. Tad earthy. Fruity not as pot-pourri like as the nose made me fezr. Intense, tart finish. Milder spice / herb / Floral character. Very decent, but not a fan of the aroma.
Sour, tart, fruity. A bit vinous, herbal, smooth. Very tasty.

0,75l at the Lambic-o-droom. Amber cloudy color, small white head. Smells grapes, vinous, spices, grassy, spices. Very nice smell, bit heavy. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes very fragrent, spices, vinous, stone fruits, plums, bit lactic. Finishes dry light to medium sour with notes of vinous notes, stone fruits and grassy notes. Very good stuff, heavy but good complexity
