The Cuvée Miel is a special version of the Cuvée Armand & Gaston. This geuze is a blend of one-, two-, three- and four-year old lambikken that have been infused with honey on the coolship. While blending, we added some more local honey. The weighted average age of this blend upon bottling was more than 24 months. 100% 3 Fonteinen brewed lambik.

Bottle picked up in a nice spot somewhere round Sablon, last September. Deep gold with some haze. Slim tight white head. Nicely boozy oaky bretty honeyed goozy vibe. Bit of dusty cellar. Some stewed cooking apple. Some sweet Sherry thing. Tart twangy bittersweet on the palate. Belies the ABV. Clean tangy finish. Honey came good here.

750ml shared by Alex @ Ryan's. №67 of season 20 - 21. Appearance: hazy pale copper with a white head. Aroma: lots of minerals, funky, some sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, nice funk, some minerals, honey does add nicely to the body of the beer. Overall: very nice.

Poured from 750mL bottle (no. 67 - season 20/21 - bottled 28/07/2021). Hazed golden orange with small white head. Earthy, dry, barnyard funk with feint honey and a hint of leather. Some nice complexity, but a little bit on the fence on this one.

Was expecting the honey to add some sweetness but instead got more A&G bite than expected. Still delicious rustic gueuze notes, apples and pears, lemony peppery funk.

750mL bottled October 2021, drunk 1/22/23. Darker bronze than usual for a lambic on account of the honey I assume. No head, clear. Smells less funky/barnyardy than I'd prefer, with strong lactic acid, fruity, peppery, almost waxy honey fermentation character and a bit of brett playfulness, though it's rather fleeting. Clean. Very fruity and feels stronger than usual (since it is). Soft texture, wheat and malt heavy with good attenuation, though not as dry, crisp and effervescent as I'd like. There's some interesting brett and lacto character here, but it's also strong, a bit more sluggish and intense on account of the much higher alcohol content. These ~8% lambics are just not at all what lambic is about to me - lighthearted, crisp, playful, champagne-like, drinkable. Instead it's just intensity, strength, maltiness, sluggish fruit. Don't care for that.

Juleafslutning i Ratebeer, Odense. December 2022 hos Mads. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of funk, malt and a hint of bees wax. Dry and tart fruity and funky flavour with a hint of honey sweetness. Less complex than most from the brewery
