500ml bottle. Hazy, chestnut colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, off-white head. Wheaty, fruity, minimally toasty malty aroma, hints of banana, baked banana, apple, pear, spicy hints of clove and nutmeg, a minimally nuttily touch. Taste is slightly dry, wheaty, minimally toasty malty with a nuttily touch, hints of banana, apple and pear, subtle sweetness, minimally yeasty spicy overtones with a touch of clove. OK.

Bottle shared at the brewery during day 2 of the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours lightly hazy golden-brown with a dense, frothy head. Rich dark wheat character, with light berries, bread, faint cola. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with toasted wheat, something akin to root beer, moderate fruity accents. Nice one.

Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. Cloudy nut brown, brief head. Strange aroma of tiger balm, menthe, overripe fruit and banana. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded, somewhat oily mouthfeel. Fruity with light notes of caramel. Plenty of tiger balm, notes of bubblegum.

Bouteille:Hazy, amber coloured, slowly collapsing loose off-white head; sweetish caramelly-yeasty nose with a wheaty tinge; quite sweet flavour, a bit sticky, light bodied instead; slightly lingering sweet-caramelly and wheaty finish with traces of dried fruits. No glory, too sweet…
