Dieses Bier ist nach dem Gemeinen Geigenrochen (Rhinobatos rhinobatos) ist ein Fisch, der eigenlich recht häufig in einem riesigen Verbreitungsgebiet anzutreffen war. Allerdings aufgrund seines Lebensraums in Küstennähe am Boden wurde er als Beifang von Schleppnetzen als auch als Speisefisch ist er im MIttelmeer so gut wie ausgerottet und auch im Ostatlantik schon sehr stark gefährdet. Das zugehörige Bier ist ein spritziges, intensiv grasiges IPA, das sich gut trinken lässt und ein angenehmes Prickeln auf der Zunge hinterlässt. Auch wenn diese Bier inzwischen ein recht teurer Spaß sind, so ist es doch immer eine Freude neue BIere und Tiere kennenzulernen.

0.5 l can shared with Fates11 at Gramofonoteka, Maribor. Hazy golden, medium off-white head. Lightly to moderately hoppy, citrusy, herbal, zesty. Hints of grapefruit. Hints of soap. Leaves. Earthy. Bland. Spice or herbs. Medium body.
Humalane, mõru, nats happeline, kuiv. Okish.

Hazy yellow colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have a nice mix of leafy, piney hops and fruity elements like grapefruit and pineapple.

Tap. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is grassy, cereals. Taste is grassy, some grains, also juicy hops, refreshing bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Solid!

Clear pale blond yellow beer, small creamy white head, unstable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Aroma: lots of citrus, fruity, grapefruit, bitter, floral, hoppy, spicy, dry, decent. Aftertaste: bitter, dry, soapy, hoppy, fruity, citrus, some banana, ok beer.
