Borefts XII. Day 1. Almost clear deep gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth and fairly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Sweet caramel and cream malts. Thinnish but rich tasting. A dry and thin barleywine but ultimately a decent one.

Smakprov på Närke. Rostfärgad med smutsvit krona. Något utav en diacetyl-bomb, men vet inte om det nödvändigtvis är dåligt här. Smörkola, dumleklubba, karamell, Malaco kolasnören, torkad aprikos, fruktighet. Gott.

Light brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are malty, sweet, even towards sugary. Really grainy and full bodied.

On tap at Borefts. Pours a dark copper color with moderate head. Aromas of buttered rye bread, fruit jam, and dry honey. Flavors of earthy honey, toffee, orange, trail mix and toast. Sweet sticky finish. Neat.

Op tap bij Borefts '22. Koperkleur, vuilwitte kraag. Boterbabbelaars, medium zoet, geconfijte vruchtjes, marmelade, fors bitter, grassig, theeblaadjes. Medium body. Niet geweldig.

Tap. Clear amber color with white head. Aroma is a bit buttery, aste is a bit buttery, marmalade, some sweeter fruits. Taste is quite hoppy, petrol-like pellets. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Not my favourite Barleywine.

Sampled @ Borefts Bier Festival 2022. A clear orange brown beer. Aroma of caramelized malt, nuts, oxidized malt. Taste of oxidized caramelized malt, grains, some honey, straw.

Clear dark red to red brown beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: oh my, lots of diacetyl in this one, that’s not good, caramel, dried fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: oh my, very bad, all butter flavour in this one, lots of diacetyl, spoiled yoghurt, very unpleasant, very bad, don’t like it one little bit. Also hoppy bitterness.
