Roger Ramjet, he’s our man, hero of our nation... Our ode to the wonderful bourbon barrel imperial stouts from the USA and the beers that inspired our Australian version, Ramjet. We sourced 1st use Buffalo Trace and Heaven Hill barrels direct from America, and filled them with our wonderfully complex Ramjet base. More than 12 months later, we disgorged and canned.
Roger Ramjet, like previous vintages, has a luscious and rich malt base, with enough hop character to balance the palate out. A full mouthfeel that really shows its hand when consumed at 10˚C+. The vanillins and bourbon character are firm and help round everything out.

From tap at Borefts 2022. Lots of bourbon in the aroma with caramel, toffee, chocolate, alcohol, some vanilla. Quite rich, boozy, bittersweet flavour with a long aftertaste. Full and lovely.

Borefts XII Day 2. Cheers Ian. Almost opaque black brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a good creamy dark chocolate streak. Big fruity bourbon dominates, touch of vanilla oak. Fairly dry finish. Good straight up BBA Impy.
