In Chapter 3 ‘The Ghost Dimension’, brewed with our best beery pals Fierce Beer, our heroine has been cornered by the villain in the cabin and is entranced by the villain’s supernatural abilities. Our homemade mole sauce went into this beer, featuring 4 types of chillies, appropiately including the super ‘Fierce’ Naga ‘Ghost’ chillies for a fiery and smokey undertone on the palate.

Keg @ Vocation & Co, Hebden Bridge. Very dark brown with an small brown head. Fairly boozy as expected but there's some chocolate sweetness to be enjoyed before the spice kicks in on each sup. This is pretty good and subsides in its aftertaste allowing its winter warming dark malt flavours through again.

440ml can. Black with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate, chillis and spices, vanilla. Taste is spicy, quite some chilli kick here, sweet chocolate and vanilla, raisins, cloves, cinnamon, alcohol is pretty well hidden. Thick, full body, creamy smoothness. Excellent chilli stout.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. An oily sticky black brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is charred, green pepper, sticky cinnamon bun, banoffee, smoky, meaty roast. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky brown sugar, veg / pepper/ chilli, some bitter coffee, light ashy roast in the finish. Warming chilli at the back of the throat tempted by the sweetness. Palate is medium sweet, sticky , oily, lowish carbonation. Hides the considerable ABV well.
