440ml can. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, minimally grassy and resinous, hoppy as well as slightly spicy, pale malty aroma, notes of gooseberry, hints of lemon, lemon peel, a touch of white grapes and salty cracker, grape sugar overtones. Taste is dry, fruity and minimally grassy hoppy, minimally spicy, pale malty basis with low residual sweetness, hints of gooseberry, unripe honeydew melon, a touch of lemon peel, lemon, unripe kiwi fruit, weak resinous basic layer. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Light, refreshing, highly drinkable - very nice.

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light malts, thin really, a modest sweetness. The NZH104 hops deliver crisp pine and a little hop spice. But what about the core elements? Bright tropical fruits, pineapple up front, a lighter and juicier tropical fruits melange on the back end. Nice. Not sure this hop brings anything new but it's bright and breezy.

Pours a hazed blonde. Medium sized white head. Scent is light, bready, mild pine, citrus, not as expressive on the NZ typical hoparomas. Taste is quite bitter, a fairly herbal bitterness. Aroma has the typical gentle soft fruityness that IS expressive, typical of these NZ style hops - but it's pushed a bit to the back. In style, surely, and making this a very easy drinker, yet not the most exciting of beers or even pale ale's.
