Green can for $1.50; pour looks like apple cider with perhaps a lemonade tinge to it. Weird fruit nose, some ginger and almost off-putting and farmy. First taste is certainly a little bit of chalk in there with ginger. Some sort of plastic sensations coming thru. Different, perhaps some warming sensation in the belly. In the middle, getting a a tad of citrus in there. Good level of carbonation. In the end, overall something quite unique, not like most ginger ciders I've had in the past.

355ml can from Mitchell Wines Meadowhead - murky amber gold body, no head. 5.5% version, spicy citrus, hits of ginger at the finish, grapefruit and tangy apple.

355ml can from Old Shoe bar, Sheffield. Hazy yellow gold colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of yuzu citrus, ginger, apple. Taste is sweet, spiced, gingery, apple, with zingy yuzu notes and some citric acidity. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, sweet and citric finish. Quite drinkable.

Hazy gold with a trace white head that faded quickly. Tart and musty with lemon, grapefruit and a hint of apple. Long ginger finish. Medium body.

Perfectly clear golden coloured body with a super thin pure white head that fades very quickly. Aroma of pretty strong ground ginger, a dash of vinegar and some very strong apple notes with a little bit of citrus notes, but the apples are easiliest the strongest here in the nose. Light-bodied; Very strong ground ginger flavour shows at first with a nice lemon and subtle grapefruit notes, but the fresh apples and especially the vinegary, soured notes are the strongest here for sure. Aftertaste shows some slight spicey notes from the ginger, but a crisp citrus flavour and a light but sweet apple flavour that tastes like Golden Delicious and a dash of lemons at the end for freshness. Overall, a nice, crisp and very easy-drinking cider with some light citrus and ginger flavours, but a lightly sweet but very appley cider that is refreshing and smooth, but this crazy sized can is perhaps a bit too much. I sampled this 19.2 ounce tall can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bryant Park, 42nd Street), New York on 14-January-2023 for US$2,99 sampled at my hotel here in Exmore, Virginia on 24-February-2023 while visiting the Eastern Shore.

568ml tall boy from the Bearded Monk in Denton, Tx. They're in mix packs everywhere, but I just wanted a single. It's impossible sometimes. Clear plastic cup back at the hotel. Deep orange & ginger gold, sort of hazy, white wash pasty lace. Ginger, mandarin orange, apple peels & muted mulling spice. Taste has significant fresh ginger but without the spice(initially). Candied lemon, cardamom, apple astringency without the flavor. Apple is more rich, sweet & flat. They did add some natural flavor that I unsuccessfully tried to pinpoint. Could be apple essence to boost the buried flavor. Some ginger heat creeps back into the picture once everything else has failed. Winner by default. Carbonation is biting, body is a little gloopy, abv feels like a watery mixed drink. Have had better from them.
