Keg at CBJ. Just a light haze on this yellow gold beer, tidy off white head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Very light malts, sweet enough. Soft pine and a little elderflower. Airy finish. Decent summer beer.

Keg at CBJ pre-tasting. Aroma has citrus and onion. Then some sugary sweetness appears. Hazy-opaque darker gils. Thick foamy white head. Flavourwise it's got a 'tight' citrus ans onion core. A vague hint of sweetness, which then gains prominence. Light. Thin. Lively fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent. I can't see casuals liking this, nothing like a Fosters.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction, Bermondsey, 27/05/2026.
Golden blonde with a lasting white head.
Nose is sweet tropical fruits, pineapple, melon.
Taste comprises sweet edged malts, papaya, tangerine, floral notes.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness.
Passable basic pale and running overly sweet for my liking.

(Keg at the brewery taproom, 20250609) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had citrus fruits, bread and lightly grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were citrus fruits, floralness, bread, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had citrus fruits, bread and bitterness. A decent fruity brew with thin flag.

(Draught at Mother Kelly's Bethnal Green, London, 11 May 2024) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, bread, orange and peaches. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, orange, lemon peel, white bread, grass and a mild citric/grassy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Refreshing and well balanced. Nice one.

Keg draught at the Newcastle Tap. Light golden and a little bit cloudy with a frothy white head. Aroma of berries and apricot with an almost spicy malt character. Sweet taste, again very malt led for a British APA, followed by a dominating bitterness toward the finish. Slight almost watery body with soft carbonation. A lot to unpack here, but not the best that Unbarred have to offer.

Third, tap, sample tray at Mad Squirrel Tap, Watford. Clear yellow-gold body, covering white head, clingy lacing. Moderate citrus smell, scent of grapefruit. Fresh citrus taste joined by dried fruits and grainy malts. Mid-dry, distant bitter endnotes. Quite alright. (Watford 05.11.2022).
