My pint can says it was packaged on 8/30/24 and also that the ABV is 6.8%, both to pass along. Bought at the closest beer shop, Mr. T's, recently. I will use a snifter to sample this one, the can is opened and tilted. The appearance is, uh, hazy, and lemon yellow in color followed by a substantial, fluffy head of snow white foam. I get a sniff that is pretty decent, yellow fruit, some hops, tropical and grass. The label also informs that the hops combination comes from Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and HBC 1019 strains, so there is that going forward. I have a taste and get grapefruit, juice to a slight degree, the same for pineapple, grass, nectarines and bit of hoppy bitterness. It is a bit different, I cannot really nail it down. I'm not put off but I am also not euphoric. All right to get a sampling, likely not a beer I would pursue again.

Aromas are somewhat oxidized citrus and resin hops with some wet grain and pale malt. Flavors are similar to nose, unbalanced sweet bitter carbonation. Label is better than the beer. I thought it was going to be better.

Tip Tap draught, 6/14/24. Very hazy, turbid golden-maize. Small, white head quickly to ring. Clean, bit of pine, lemongrass and coconut. Lightly tropical, biscuit and cracker, not too yeasty. Well-attenuated, seemingly. Big Sabro vibes. Coconut and a good deal bitter for the style with ample maltiness drying out nicely with pine and mosaic spiciness. Clean, just malty enough. Very drinkable. Pushing it on the coconut but not too much.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Hazy orange/golden pour, towering rocky white head. Citrusy aroma, tangerine. Taste is bready with faint citrusy notes, a little blast of citrus zest before settling in back to the biscuity malts. Tapers off at the finish.

You know I don't love these hazies, but here JK shows how good they are when they can sell me on this! First that's quite a hop nose profile, really really impressive there. Whats in there its hard to say, its complex, floral and fruity, is it blueberry muffins with orange zest and jasmine or am i just making stuff up? The world may never know. Heck there's also a touch of tropical fruit in that nose too. Flavor is sweaty and tropical, somewhat yeasty, of course low bitterness but there's at least some there. creamy texture. Is it great? no. Is it possibly the best hazy IPA I've had. possibly.

27 September 2022. At Jester King Brewery. Shared with the lovely Anke!
Hazy bright yellow, stable, white head. Aroma of fresh mandarin, peach, pineapple, lychee, starfruit. Taste has sweet mandarin & peach, some sourish lime, doughy maltiness. Floral hoppy finish, citrusy, bit dry & pithy. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Very fresh, cool.
