@Indyman - Black with coffee-esque head. Aroma of sweet, dried fruits. It’s rich, sweet, thick and bitter. Massively intense flavours.

On tap at Borefts 2014. Black colour, tan head. Love the px. Chewy dark chocolate burnt raisins. Very good sherry. Lovely.

Draft @ Borefts 2014. Thick, black beer. A real taste bomb, with notes of roasted malt, coffee, licorice and some fennel. Quite powerful beer.

@Borefts 2014, zwart met lichte kraag. Aroma van druif, caramel, rozijn, zoet. smaken zijn bruine suiker zoet, alcohol, druiven, romig en glad, vanille, alcohol, geroosterde mouten, lage co2, volle body, zacht, best wel aardig maar geen echter topper @Borefts 2015 opnieuw geproefd, bevestigde mij eerdere rating.

On tap at Borefts ’14. Black, beige head. Aroma of lots of sherry, raisins, grapes, brown sugar, quite sweet, alcohol, light smokey touch, hard-roasted matls. Flavour is sweet, sherry, chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, light smoke, booze, bittersweet finish with some alcohol. Medium to full-bodied. Nice.

sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2014: dunkelbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher beiger Schaumkrone. geruch nach Gewürzen, holzig, Maggi. Geschmack sehr würzig, schokoladig, Kaffee.

Tap @ Borefts 2014, small sample. Dark color, short head. Boozy, coffee, dry, fruity, dark bread. Bitter and boozy is a bit overwhelming the dark bread and coffee. Ok, but not great.

Had this at Borefts BF, Bodegraven, Netherlands, Friday 26th September 2014. Pours very, very dark brown with a beige head. Wonderfully subtle BA nose. Some liquer chocolate creamy gateaux, boozy but in good big boozy trifle type of way. Really indulgent,thick in mouth, excellent. This is a sexy beer. A7 A4 T9 P5 Ov16 3.9

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, green session. 03/05/2014. Dark caramel brown coloured pour with a rich dark tan head. Viscous. Aroma is earthy coffee bean, roast. Flavour is liquorice, hot alcohol, rum, slight tart. Big wammy of alcohol. Big boy’s beer. Palate is full and smooth on the tongue. Some apple skin.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. The last they poured of this, and I got it! It's as good as black looking in the glass this with a big lacing beige head. Looks about as good as they can really and it definitely smells nice! Stout ish and really dark with salty ham and wood hints. I get some chocolate also. I has that lovely deep salty licorice flavor that I really like. In the mouth it feels really smooth. Delicious dark. Lots of sherry and port sweetness here. Deep dark dried fruits and berries, some wood. This just was amazingly tasty. Would go back for seconds, but I can't. 03.05.2014
