Warning, not for the faint hearted.

Only the brave can handle this intense mix of sweet and sour cherries. It's bold flavours will leave even the biggest adrenaline junkie wanting more.

A mouth watering jammy sour, with an intense cherry overload. As vibrant in flavour as it in in colour.

Really dark and deep red colour. It's a juicy, fruity and slightly sharp cherry taste. Luckily not so much cherry pit.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Clear dark red pour, no head to speak of. Aroma is cherry boiled sweets, continuing to taste with a distinct cherry cordial vibe, not sour. Comes across quite simplistic and not beer-like, or fruit-beer like. Just cordial-like, and not what's expected from a beer with a name like Death by Cherries.

Keg at Heidrun, HWY, 08/06/22. Deep claret with a good sized crimson cap. Nose is cherry drops, sugars, red berry esters. Taste comprises cherry syrup, sweet, sugary, 1D. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so ... a real let down ... Vocation are normally way better than this. They ever tried a sour beer before ?

Draught keg at Vocation & Co. Hebden Bridge. Dark, almost brownish red with a small pink head. Aroma is a bit synthetic like cherries mixed with a small amount of... plastic? Not impossible but not the cherry nirvana I was expecting. Sour taste with lots of black cherry, although still unable to shake the synthetic feel. The long finish leaves loads of cherry on the tongue, with medium to heavy carbonation giving the beer a lift. So not all impossible. Just... slightly disappointing. Overall okay despite initial issues.

Keg @ Vocation & Co, Hebden Bridge. Clear cherry-red with plenty of cherry in aroma and taste. Perhaps the death tag should have been reserved though for something stronger as it’s pretty inoffensive.
