A: hazy dark brown, stable, foamy, tan head.
A: toasted brown bread, raisin, pear, yeast, liqueur, milk chocolate.
T: sweet fig, raisin, pear, yeast, spices, bitter toast.
F: earthy hops, spicy yeast, dried fruits, warming brandy-like alcohol.
P: medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.
Interesting hybrid as it were; was Chimay yeast used here?

Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met mooie lichtbruine schuimkraag. Smaak is licht bitterzoet met iets van chocolade, wat karamel, rozijn en heel licht iets van rook. Verder valt er nog iet kruidigs te bespeuren, mogelijk kaneel of kardemon?

Clear dark brown to purple beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, quite some roast, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very malty up front, a little sweet, caramel, bitter, hoppy, grains, hay, cow fodder, some milk chocolate. Aftertaste: dry, bitter, spicy touch, hoppy, very malty, cow fodder.

Couleur cuivre, col fin crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme présente une savoureuse note d'une base plus belge au niveau velure avec qcq esters fruités le tout avec en rétro-nasal un délicat apport fruité noire/secs.
Palais sur une base belge avec des éléments rappelant presque une quadruple - fruits noirs - figues et dattes, boozy tout en restant correcte avec ses 8.5% - petite note de sucre résiduel en fin de bouche, effervescence moyenne e tune belle longueur de bouche au niveau des malts - plutôt caramel/fruité, dark.
