V hloubi našeho sklepa se ukrývá malá kolekce barelů, které čekají na svou příležitost vyrazit na světlo světa. Čas od času je ochutnáme, a pokud některý z našich pokladů dozrál, rádi se o něj podělíme. Tenhle barel po bourbonu Woodford Reserve plný silného tmavého ejlu ve sklepě strávil 4 dlouhá léta, než jsme ho doladili k dokonalosti. Přidali jsme víc divokých kultur, pak zase borůvky a pak nechali uležet, aby byl tak jemný, ovocný, komplexní a hezky tříslovinový. Je ho jenom 150 litrů (to víte, andělská daň a důsledné degustování), proto ho ochutnejte, dokud je. Jeho pouť se blíží ke konci.

Tap at Billie’s. What it’s got on the nose is exactly my cuppa tea: berries, light malt touches, bourbon, some acidity and funk, exciting and fun. Tastewise, however, it’s bit of a letdown, far less complex and intense, some malt and booze sweetness is complemented with a slightly dull acidity and fruity touches. Not bad alltogether, but could’ve been much better.

Draught Huge, dense & fine greige head over black beer. Leather, wild yeasts, pine, undergrowth. Undergrowth, earthy, pine, black chocolate and dark berries, billberry bushes. Medium to well-bodied, alcohol underneath - and yet no real heat. Amazing beer.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2022, Saturday Session. A black beer with a tan lacing. Aroma and Taste of intense sweet dark malt, some red fruits, mild sourness, red wine, wood.

Tap at Beergeek Bar for the anniversary event. Murky brown body, tan head. Tart-sweet, dry, barrel-driven taste - coconut, wood, marzipan, alcohol notes, oily. Raisiny and salty too. Not much blueberry in it. Soft, sweet-tart taste, metallic, raisiny, maybe some blueberry touches, the wood not being as strong as in the aroma somehow. I didn't dig it as much as Gurthnar did, but since I generally love the beer of the Wood Craft Series, I'll try to get a bottle to share with people and rerate it then.

Tap at Beer Geek. Med-full body, rather high carbonation. Medium sweetness, med-light tartness, light sourness and bitterness and warmth. Very nice balance in flavour - moderate chocolate, light coffee, light blueberry, light dried fruits. Medium horsey funk, medium woody notes. Easy drinking, ABV hidden rather well. Great.
