Bottel from Fonefan, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Coffee, caramel and maple syrup in the aroma. Licorice and coffee in the roasty maltflavor. White pepper. Sweet, hardly any carbon. Full bodied. Powerful imperial stout.

Black with frothy, light beige head. Roasted, fruity aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has raw licorice and good, but rough hoppy bitterness. Alcoholic, bitter finish.

50 cl bottle @ home, about a year old (bought during honeymoon in Denmark). Deep dark color (not quite black). No head. Aroma’s of chocolate, dried fruit, syrup. Flavor is rather sweet, dried fruit, chocolate-y. Alcohol warms. Medium to full bodied. Hardly any carbo. Finishes slightly dry, no new flavors. More going towards quad (or barley wine) than impy. Not too bad though.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Dark brown colour with a thin, tanned head. Sweet aroma with roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel, light nuts and dark, dried fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter with chocolate and coffee. A lighter Imp. Stout as the label claims. Still a nice beer.

Bottle. It pours a minimal sized beige head over a lighlty unclear dark brown body. Sweetish, almost cough syrup like aroma with a nice grassy, citrusy hoppyness. Oxidation and dark dried fruits. Full body, sweetish and softly carbonated. Some alcohol warmth. Lots of sweetish, roasted oxidized malts, with some chocolate and a pleasant hoppyness. Not much bitterness though, or it disappeares in the sweetness. Some warmth in the finish. Well, it feels more or less like a dark English style barley wine than like an imperial stout. 130516
