Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Wednesday 8th February 2023 after a nice Belgian Beef Carbonnade for tea. Pours dark amber/light to mid brown, nice carbonation a little bit of a tinny edge, some sweetness but with a slight twang, caramel also. Not a typical brown ale and yet it has some simple touches with makes me think of a brown ale. Ok but I guess it's always going to be a very hard job to make an extremely good Brown ale.

Hazy murky brown. Aroma is bread pretzel light hay some faint peach. Taste is chestnut yeast forward with light chalky mouthfeel. Quite rural but not too complex. Nothing too specual here.
