Dengar's Church (No Damson) Vanilla Coconut Fudge Imperial Stout

We first met Damian (Emperors) back in 2015 at a tap takeover in Buxton. Fast forward a couple of years and Damian re-appears on our radar as the only private collector in the world to hold kegs of our imperial porter Lorelei.
Fast forward a couple of more years and Damian brews some of the best imperial stouts we’ve had. The beer we brewed together is loosely based on one of them called DENGAR's DAMSON STOUT.
UK malts and continuously brewed over 48 hours. Double mashed into our oversized mash tun at the church and boiled for over 5 hour, yielding an unbelievably thick and rich body.
Conditioned on Tahitian vanilla beans and toasted coconut from the Philippines. Brewed at Omnipollos church in Sundbyberg outside of Stockholm.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black. Vanilla, chocolate, lots of prunes, very sweet, kinda umami, sugary, maple, oily.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 15/01/23. Black with a golden to tan head that soon dissipates edgewards and to a tiny swirl. Nose is chocolate, honeycomb, booze tunes, dark malts, liquorice, spice, light herbal notes. Taste comprises dark malts, herb, spice, mellow roast, brown sugar melt, molasses, light coconut shavings, treacle toffee, chocolate. Full bodied, oily feel with soft carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Solid impy stoot ... fair complex ... sweet edged but a bit of herbal and spice presence keeps it in check.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Wingman dave. A sticky oily dark brown coloured pour with no head. Aroma is thick chewy toffee, praline, alcohol, cakey, butterscotch, some alcohol , vanilla, bourbon. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky toffe pudding , vanilla, bourbon, sticky brown sugars. Palate is sticky sweet, mellow carbonation.

330ml can. Pitch black with a brown head. Aroma of caramel fudge, chocolate, coconut, vanilla. Taste is extremely sweet, liquid chocolate caramel fudge, coconut, vanilla, brown sugar, maple, roast malts in the background. Thick, full body, smooth.

Canned 330ml. -at Goblet Zagreb, shared with Marko. Pitch black coloured, small brown head, coconut in the nose. Coconut, vanilla, chocolate, light alcohol and lactose with burnt touch in the finish.

Can at Goblet. Blackish body, not much head. Huge coconut, woody, spicy, sweet, dried fruit, brown sugar, cake, light alcohol. Soft nutty creamy, full taste, huge coconut and roast kick in, brown sugar, maple, spices, vanilla, bitter finish, warming. Very good, had better.
