Can at home from the brewery. Pours deep brown with no head. Nose is light to medium smoke, dried fruits, cacao, nougat. Taste is cacao, medium smoke, earthy notes, a nice fruityness too. Light to medium bodied but with an oily texture, it’s got a soft carbonation too. Noice.

Clear dark brown beer, big creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty start, grains, hay, good roast, gentle smoky touch, dark chocolate. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body, creamy texture. Taste: a bit sourish, very roasted, very bitter and dry, a little smoky. Aftertaste: a bit malty, slightly sweet, bitter, hoppy, dry, good roast, some charcoal. Decent, but I think the smoky is too subtle for a smoked porter, labelled as such.

Brune foncée quasi noire, col épais crémeux café au lait.
Arôme sur des notes malts - caramel, chocolat noir, rétro léger de fumé - houblonné délicat - agrumes, tabac, terreux.
Palais est délicat avec une belle présence des malts - ici, chocolat noir, léger fumé, caramel, un peu fudge, fruits noirs et rouges,
Le fumé est là sans être trop dominant et passe très bien avec le côté chocolat rappelant le praliné. Délicat caractère houblonné noble - de ce Mittelfrüh qui avec son profil ajoute une touche de tabac et de léger citronné avec une petite touche terreuse.
Effervescence est là où il faut - le tout sur une légère épaisseur et rondeur de bouche.
