Bottle, 6.5%. Clear dark brown colour. The flavour is slightly sweet, quite malty. Dark malts, some pepper, only slightly sweet. Well-balanced. Tastes of more than its 6.5%.

50 cL bottle. Pours deep amber, clear and golden with a small and tan head. Roasted breadish and malt aroma. Light caramel to chocolate note. Mild roasted flavoured, breadish and light liqourice touch. Nice level of hops coming through. Smooth, roasted and mild spiced finish. Great brew.

The bottle looks very good, the beer in the glass also. Quite dark, fine foam. Tastes malty and strong, not too alcoholic. Very fine and intense finish. Very drinkable. Another great beer from this small brewery!

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, dark brown colour with a mid-sized off-white foamy head. Sweet, roast-malty nose with caramel, liquorice and light herbal hoppy notes. Sweet and slightly sugary flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Roast-malty, caramelly taste with light liquorice spice; sweet and roasty, malt-accented finish with caramel and traces of hops in the aftertaste. Decent dark Bock (23.01.08).

Bottle (to koupil hodny Quack-Duck !): Deep amber coloured, mid-sized, relatively stable off-white head, sugary dark-malty nose, backed by some shy hops; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; becomes a bit drier towards the robust sweet dark-malty, slightly hoppy finish. A clean and decent Bock, tastes a bit like a diluted Doppel-Bock...........

bottle, bought at the brewery. Dark brwon, nearly black colour, small and quickly diminishing foamy head. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt. Flavours of chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of caramel and coffee. Medium-bodied, slightly thin in the finish but with a very pleasant and lingering aftertaste.

Test vom 6.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,11,12,13,11,12
