(Draught at Charlie’s, Copenhagen, 27 March 2008) Very dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted, rounded nose with notes of chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate and coffee. Smooth and rounded, well balanced dunkel.

33 cL bottle. Pours deep brown with a red hue, clear and with a small slight creamy off-white head. Slight sweet caramel malty aroma. Sweet cornish and mild caramel flavour. Butterscotch note once the beer heats a bit up. Slight thin finish with a decent bitterness. Decent.6-3-5-3-11=2.8
From tap at Charlies, unfiltered/unpasteurised. Pours hazy dark brown with a deep amber glare and a creamy, dense and lasting head. Yeasty and roasted malt aroma. Light fruity flavoured, distinct yeasty. Ligh roasted to breadish note. Quite sweet too. Light bitter and fruity flavoured finish.7-3-7-3-13=3.3

2007-12-20, draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 6-3-6-3-13=31
Clean amber color; huge head. Similar to a low alcohol Bock, with some sweet caramel, that is quite good, and light fruitness like a top fermented beer. A bit simple but not bad.
2007-05-25 draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, 6-3-6-3-13=31
Dark brown color; big head. Aroma of caramel, malt, quite sweet; light vinegar. Common Dunkel, on the sweet side, with mellow caramel taste, almost honeish. Simple.

330ml bottle. Nice golden body with a rather small off-white head. Aroma has some malt and caramel. Flavor is medium sweet, malty, caramel and some hops. Use to be one of the more interesting Danish macro lager some years ago (before the revolution).

Bottled. Brown beer with a small, diminishing beige head. Weak aroma with malt, some hops and roasted notes. Caramel, roasted malt, sweetness and bitter-notes in the flavor. Medium to thin body, a bit too much carbonation, and a quite sweet finish, balanced with some bitterness. Guess this must have been one of the most interesting Danish beers some years ago. (061007)

An ok dunkel. i would prefer it a bit stronger. The plain lager was much much better.I really liked Hancock beers though.
