Many moons ago when the earth was young, billions of years before the first humans could hold a pint, there roamed an angry badass we now know as the T-Rex. Angry you ask? Yes, well, if your arms were too short for cuddling, you’d be pretty pissed as well. We all like that shit. While Rexy existed long before the first brew was ever crafted, we like to think he would have been a fan of the classic American IPA. So, in tribute to this angry dude who never got enough love, we introduce to you the Oppsoable IPA. We aren’t reinventing the IPA wheel with this beer, but we are picking a classic style and rolling out really freakin’ well. No seriously, this beer kicks some IPA ass. Hopped with Nugget, Summit and Cascade, this hop forward, aromatic ale presents notes of grassy, piney, citrusy goodness.

Amber, thin head, big piney, the malts are biscuity, a touch chewy. It's okay.

2 November 2022. At Historic Brewing, Williams. Shared with the lovely Anke!
A: clear amber, thin, off-white head.
A: pine perfume, lemon, lemon, vague butter.
T: sweet melon & pomegrenate, biscuit & grapefruit.
F: floral hops, pine perfume and some butter.
P: medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.
Too much butter. Too bad, because it could have been better.

Taster at the Grand Canyon Winery. Pours a clear, orange color, with a medium, whitish head. Strong pine aromas, with some orange zest, vanilla, and toast. Not very sweet, with a strong, sticky bitterness. Medium to heavy body, with a sticky, sharp mouthfeel. This is a solid, aromatic IPA.

A lightly hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of resinous citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a biscuit malt with loads of resinous floral hops, treacle, citrus, very nice. On tap at brewery.

Poured up on tap at Craft 64 (@ 6.9% and 52 IBUs) where it exhibits a clear copper body that supports a thin near white head. The aroma offers up a tasty blend of citrus and tropical fruity hops where there’s also a thin layer of malts in the background. The taste delivers soft citrus hoppiness mingling with pineapple and mango juicy tropical fruit notes. It quickly picks up hop bitterness rimmed thinly by resiny hops. Midway and into the finish mild spicy sort of earthy herbal hops join the fun to create a deeper more balanced experience. Solid IPA.
