Our rich imperial stout is blended from a mix of bourbon barrels from distilleries such as Heaven Hill, Four Roses, Wild Turkey, and Buffalo Trace, each aged in freshly emptied bourbon barrels for 8-14 months. Expect flavors of chocolate and vanilla, oak, whiskey, and molasses, followed by caramel, berry fruit, and almond.

Bottle shared by Johnny. Opaque black color, small light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, lovely bourbon. Flavor is malts, bourbon, some chocolate, vanilla, sweetness, laurel lightly, liquorice, lingering liquorice bitters. Heavy!

2022 bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a dark brown with small tan head. The aroma is bourbon, roasted malt, chocolate. Slick body, dark chocolate, roast, wood, bourbon, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.

12 bottle. Thanks to ClarkVV on getting this at The Beer Temple! Pours a thick black with zero head. The aroma is chocolate, coffee, and bourbon. The taste is chocolate, old coffee and mild lasting Heaven Hill bourbon. Nice!

Bottle pour shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Opaque black with ring of head and no lacing. Aroma is strong bourbon, malt. Taste is strong bourbon, malt, toffee. Smooth, thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Nice Heaven Hill treatment but not complex.

12oz bottled Oct 12, 2022, drunk 4/12/24. Clear, mahogany violet. Tan head quickly to ring. Austere spicy bourbon, heavy tannin with heavy black pepper and leather. Mellow oak, mellow stout, no booze. Chewy chocolate, oat, rye, and strong spice. No booze. Chocolate, oat, chewy sweetness, caramel and lead with dry spice, dark chocolate and spicy bourbon. Outdoes the base by having a lot more bourbon and spice character. More wood and tannin. Not boozey.

Black colour, almost no head. Aroma of dark cacao, and bourbon. Smooth, full bodied, powerful dark chocolate, and strong alcohol strength. Side to side with the Wild Turkey one, this one seems smoother, sweeter, less boozy.

500ml (thx, Peter K. for facilitating the swap!) @ Matt's. Appearance: dark brown with a tan head. Aroma: bourbon, molasses, some dark fruits, and vanilla. Taste: along the same lines, bourbon, vanilla, some chocolate. Overall: nice one, better than WT, hehe.
